Partnering Commitment in West Africa

Following a preferred supplier agreement with a world leading Oil & Gas company, JordanSheppard have seconded one of their senior consultants to Angola for a 6 month project to manage the hiring for all local and ex pats, totalling 50+ roles. Assisted by an international support team, the roles range from HR Manager and Base Manager to Field Service Engineers. So far the project has been a success, with international and repatriated nationals being hired and a substantial network created.

In a country where the internet connection is slow and intermittent, rush hour seems to last the whole day, the infrastructure is poor and the talent pool is limited, it is obvious even in these conditions, headhunting can work.
